Recently, NRAO announced that scientists using its ALMA and Hubble had spied six rings of material around a dying sun-like star called V Hya. This star is in the process of transitioning into a white dwarf star, just like our Sun will do in a few billion years. I talk about this result and how it connects to my game shelf.
